Anna Norris grew up in Alabama. She graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a B.S. in Business Administration and was named an All-Conference Captain of the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Team.

Anna started her career at Accenture, leading several strategic efforts mainly focused on sales and delivery of highly reliable IT services at Verizon. From there she moved to Booz Allen Hamilton where she led a number of efforts focused on many aspects of IT strategy, account/client relationship management, portfolio management and more, earning recognition as a recipient of Booz Allen Hamilton's Values in Practice (VIP) Award.

Next, Anna co-founded The Norris Enterprises, a private merchant bank and holding company that specialized in analyzing, structuring, and executing complex private equity investments. She led all aspects of operations, sales and portfolio management with P&L accountability. She also served as an ambassador for the Alliance for Young Women and Girls organization.

Today, Anna is a Customer Executive in Point B's Automotive industry practice with a 15-year-long relationship with Toyota and thrives in gaining alignment within their consensus-driven culture. She's grown the account from 2 to 60+ people and is well-known for building high-performing teams where "fun" is abundant.

What has motivated you to excel over the course of your career?

I am truly passionate about being all-in. It's how I've been my whole life. I am driven by the ability to make a difference in the lives of my customers, team, family, friends—anyone with whom my path crosses.

What has been the biggest factor in your success so far?

Authenticity. I bring a natural, unselfish passion to serve and advocate for others. I'm lucky to be surrounded by a group of exceptional humans who make every day fun as we celebrate victories and learn from mistakes along the way.

What do you enjoy most about your career in the consulting industry?

I enjoy evaluating problems and developing solutions that, ultimately, benefit others—and working with customers to deliver significant value to them and their teams.

I love learning from others in my industry as much as I love teaching. As consultants, we bring a variety of experiences and knowledge to contribute to customers, but we can also learn a lot from them. Each time I meet with a customer, I'm humbled by their work ethic and reminded of the dedication and passion required to work in this field.

Consulting offers me a coveted opportunity to work and make lasting relationships with bright, extraordinary people!

What is your proudest achievement to date?

Creating a 15+ year consecutive service relationship with a Fortune 10 company and growing the Point B account from 2 to over 60 during that time frame. It's been an honor to create a space where customers and Point B'ers alike can thrive and proactively want to join in the collaboration.

What's the best advice you've ever been given?

My dad (one of my heroes) would send me quotes from Eleanor Roosevelt. My three favorites embody the core values I try to emulate as a consultant. "For your own success to be real, it must contribute to the success of others."

"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by doing the thing which you think you cannot do."

"A good leader inspires people to have confidence in the leader, a great leader inspires people to have confidence in themselves."

What does this recognition mean to you?

It is the most humbling moment for my team and for myself. What a hallmark moment to share in the delight, gratitude, and great privilege of serving others and serving them well—and a testament to everyone who took a chance to trust and believe in me throughout my career! The nomination itself furthers my self-belief, drive, and dedication to this outstanding industry and inspires me to double down on my approach. Let's do this!
