The nomination period for Consulting Magazine's Women Leaders in Consulting 2023 is open, but what you may not know is that three new categories have been added.

The three new categories are team/firm categories seeking successful women-led teams in DEI and ESG programming as well as firms doing the best job retaining female professionals.

So this year, not only will Consulting Magazine honor the leading women in our industry, but those firms and teams with successful female-led programs and initiatives will also be recognized for their contributions to the profession. View 2023 Women Leaders in Consulting categories here.

New Categories:

  • Retaining Female Talent In an industry where no one can avoid the talent war, the ability to keep hold of your best people has never been so important—particularly when it comes to balancing the industry's gender split. Many junior women leave the industry after career breaks such as maternity leave, or never feel supported enough to believe that they have a future in the profession. Entries in this category must show and provide supporting evidence that the number of women in the organization has increased, or other demonstrable evidence to show your commitment to the issue by way of new programs designed to retain women.
  • ESG Initiative This award is for firms or teams within firms that have a female lead. The team or firm must have designed or implemented ESG initiatives or programs within the firm during the past 12 months and provide demonstrative success or measurable progress of the program during that time period.
  • DEI Initiative This award is for firms or teams within firms that have a female lead. The team or firm must have designed or implemented DEI initiatives or programs within the firm during the past 12 months and provide demonstrative success or measurable progress of the program during that time period.
