International consulting firm Bip has announced the launch of Bip UK and Bip US following the rebrand of digital transformation consultancy Chaucer.
This expansion of the Bip brand into new geographies marks a significant milestone for the Group as Europe's fastest-growing digital innovation consulting firm. Bip, with Chaucer on board, is on track to become a top 20 consultancy globally by revenues by 2025.
Over the past two years Chaucer and Bip have been working to align 'as one' putting the right tools, processes, and people in place to bring the right solutions to clients and greater opportunities for their people.
As part of this journey the Group has incubated and launched Bip xTech and Bip CyberSec Centres of Excellence (CoE) bringing leading data, AI, cloud, and cyber security capabilities to clients in the United Kingdom and the United States as well as the creation of a significant number of new roles from apprenticeships to partner.
In June 2022 Chaucer announced its intention publicly to rebrand its operations to align with Bip, and from today, is trading as Bip UK and Bip US in its respective geographies. The rebranding programme has been designed and developed to build a brand that resonates in local markets with clients and remains authentic to its people and teams on the ground.
Chaucer's rebrand strengthens Bip's global brand boosting its headcount to 4,500 people in thirteen countries including Italy, Spain, Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, Chile, and Colombia – as well as the UK and US markets.
"Over the last year our own business has transformed," said Chris Laslett, CEO Bip UK/US. "We've seen our xTech business power end-to-end digital solutions, supporting data-driven transformation in multinational businesses and we've recently launched our CyberSec CoE. We're thrilled to be actively helping our clients exploit the potential of emerging tech, from AI to the metaverse. This is a pivotal moment for our business and we're looking forward to continuing our positive evolution in the UK and US as Bip."
Laslett continued, "Key to our success with Bip has been our consistent alignment on ambition and values. This has been true from the beginning, and it remains true today. We both recognise the value of working with and nurturing the best talent, being honest and transparent with our clients, and understand the greater impact our actions have on society. Being aligned on the bigger picture has been key to us being ready to be Bip."
Bip CEO Carlo Capè added, "We're delighted that Chaucer felt ready to rebrand as Bip. Strengthening our brand presence in the UK and the US not only deepens our breadth of talent but provides our global clients with faster access to Bip's experts in these key markets. In a fast-changing digital world, our number one priority is to stay ahead of the curve and create greater value for customers, employees, and shareholders."
