BCG retains top slot in large firm category for ninth consecutive year, Treacy & Company moves up 4 to occupy top position in small firm category.
Consulting Magazine announced the ranking and honored the recipients of the 2022 Best Firms to Work For awards during its annual dinner and gala Sept. 15 in Chicago. Photos from the awards gala can be viewed here.
While the list of 40 honorees in both large (251+ billable consultants) and small (20 -250 billable consultants) categories included newcomers and perennial list residents, the most notable honoree was Boston Consulting Group, securing an unmatched ninth year as the leading large firm to work for in the consulting industry.
Kristin Claire, Chicago Operations Senior Manager and Natasha McAnuff, Business Management Director at Boston Consulting accepting BCG's trophy as Consulting's Best Firm To Work For. Following BCG's No. 1 spot and rounding out the top 5 positions in the large firm category were: (#2) for the second year running, System Evolution Inc., (#3) Spaulding Ridge, and first-year honorees (#4) Publicis Sapient and (#5) Collaborative Solutions, LLC.
Treacy & Company made a three position jump from No. 4 on the Best Small Firms to Work For 2021 list, to the No. 1 position for 2022. Those sharing the remaining top 5 slots in the small firm category included (#2) Greencastle Associates, second-year honorees (#3) Cask and (#4) SSI Strategy as well as newcomer at (#5) Risk3sixty.

More than 200 firms submitted entries for this year's Best Firms to Work For recognition, resulting in 7900 surveys reviewed and evaluated.
