CMAG: How would you say you've managed to stay among the industry's Best Firms to Work For amid these unprecedented times?

We would not be where we are today without the hard work and commitment of our incredible team. They have demonstrated a tremendous amount of dedication to our clients, our company and to each other through a highly challenging time. I am extremely proud of the team we have built and the culture we have fostered together over the years, which has continued to position us as a Best Firm to Work For.

CMAG: Were there any specific programs or initiatives (internal or external) that contributed to you being a Best Firm to Work For?

To further our support for our people, we have established new development opportunities and identified new areas to continue to invest in their professional and personal growth. We have provided employees additional physical and mental health resources, increased flexible work arrangements, expanded our parental leave benefits, and increased no-cost EAP sessions. We have also hosted company-wide events and unconscious bias workshops that enabled open dialogue on culture, diversity, and inclusion, and our 10 employee resource groups continue to initiate meaningful conversations across Huron and provide our employees a sense of belonging and community.

We continue our collective commitment to investing in our people and our communities to build a more inclusive and equitable future. Our focus remains on fostering an inviting, equitable and inclusive work environment, advancing diverse representation across all levels of the organization, and expanding our community outreach and support.

The development and well-being of our people remain our top priority and we will continue to invest in their futures and professional and personal growth. For our clients, the competitive landscape across the industries we serve is rapidly changing and we anticipate that the demand for our services will also continue to increase. We remain focused on collaborating across our business to bring the best strategic, operational, digital and financial expertise forward to help our clients address their most complex challenges now and in the future.

CMAG: When you look at the remainder of this year and 2023, what excites you? What opportunities do you see in your future?

Our clients are operating in a challenging environment, and this creates significant opportunities for our future growth. Our clients are looking to us to help them plan for the future and implement innovative solutions that will allow them to be successful for years to come. With our deep client relationships, industry expertise, and breadth of offerings, including our extensive digital capabilities, we believe we are well-positioned to guide our clients through their transformation journey and achieve a more sustainable future.

CMAG: What impact do you think being a Best Firm to Work For has on the firm? Employees? Clients?
