CMAG: How would you say you've managed to stay among the industry's Best Small Firms to Work For amid these unprecedented times?
We have invested heavily in our business career path development infrastructure. We have utilized digital enablement to foster self-development capability. In addition, we have enhanced the internal procedural aspects of the firm to incorporate simulated outcomes, adding the competency development aspect to fundamental skill and knowledge transfer.
CMAG: Were there any specific programs or initiatives (internal or external) that contributed to you being a Best Small Firm to Work For?
We have built expert managerial practices that deliver highly effective managerial leadership within the firm. The firm is dependent upon highly involved managers which must balance the individual team member's independent capability with structured and timebound engagement accomplishments. As consequence, the Engagement Manager of today is anticipatory and secures competency in advance of the need, pre-emptive reconciliation of the outcome required, and links desired recognition to performance attainment. This enhancement delivers a chronic winning culture rooted in client, company, and employee success.
CMAG: What's unique about your firm? What sets it apart?
We are a business value creator for billion-dollar CEO's. Our firm, its resources, and infrastructure are applied when a client's business performance objectives are at risk of not fulfilling the existing set of performance obligations. We are an intimate extension of the chief executive, confirm and believe in visionary "possibilities" and predictably deliver sustained visionary objectives without fail. Having said that, 80% of our client positioning is in a "good to great" consideration.
CMAG: What's the top priority over the next 6 to 12 months?
Building optimum levels of organizational capacity to enable international expansion.
CMAG: When you look at the remainder of this year and 2023, what excites you? What opportunities do you see in your future?
We have a mature leadership team that is very invested in serving Global 2000 business leaders and optimizing their business pursuits. The post-covid period, high inflation and global uncertainty has enhanced the need for Brooks International to provide services at an enhanced rate and pace. We see an enhanced need for the firm's offering throughout North America, Eastern and Western Europe, Scandinavia, and the Middle East. We are poised for growth in all aspects of our business and expect to maximize the firm's growth potential.
CMAG: What impact do you think being a Best Small Firm to Work For has on the firm? Employees? Clients?
Employees that are happy, fulfilled and satisfied are infinitely more effective than those that are not. It is every leader's accountability to link the aspirations of the individual organizational member to that which the firm promotes and makes available.
