What do you consider your greatest personal or professional achievement?

I consider my greatest professional achievement to be my ongoing experience at Voiant. I am honored to have the opportunity to build and lead a functional area of this company. I'm extremely proud of the team we've built and how far we've scaled.

What advice would you give a professional just beginning a career in consulting?

Listen, learn and lead. Consulting presents a tremendous opportunity for exposure to an array of subject matters, otherwise unavailable when working in one specific industry. Soak it up and focus energy on learning all you can; use your momentum to bring others with you. Building your team starts at Day One.

What have you loved most about your consulting career?

I love creating opportunities for others to come together and bring their best. Meeting the needs of our clients takes a diverse set of experiences, knowledge and professional backgrounds. Working with incredibly diverse individuals striving toward a common goal who bring their own perspectives to every aspect of their work makes my job exciting every day.

What's the best advice—personal or professional—you've ever received

When challenges occur, personally or professionally, it's important to meet them head-on with compassion. Empathy alone is not enough. The key is to take intentional, planful action to move forward with a people-first mindset.

What does being honored as a Woman Leader in Technology mean to you?

I'm most thankful for the recognition of my team's accomplishments. The last three years have brought significant changes to how we work together. We've needed to learn to use technology tools in different ways to stay connected and achieve goals. Being on the other side of that now, seeing the work we put in to keep our teams together, and looking back on the challenges we've overcome in this environment is extremely rewarding. I'm excited about being a part of a highly talented community of professionals/problem-solvers. I'm excited to be able to continue good work and do the right things for our people.
