Ms. Sasha Gaynair currently serves as the Site Lead and Content and Dissemination manager for USSOUTHCOM J2 Intelligence Directorate. In this capacity she overseas and supports a variety of full range intelligence programs within USSOUTHCOM Headquarters and Joint Task Force – Guantanamo.

She has supported the Department of Defense for over 18 years. Prior to this position she served as the Executive Officer for USSOUTHCOM's Joint Intelligence Operations Center-SOUTH (JIOC-SOUTH), and provided a myriad of administrative support unique to the technical intelligence executed by the offices of the JIOC-SOUTH Director and Deputy Director. Prior to that she served as the command's Traditional Commander Activities (TCA) Transportation Specialist and coordinated commercial transportation requirements for the execution of transportation operations across the theater of operations.

Ms. Gaynair is a subject matter expert in Microsoft SharePoint portal design, and holds various certifications in SharePoint Technical and Occupational management. She has received letters of appreciation for outstanding support, and was recognized for co-hosting interagency meetings and supporting U.S. Army War College staff visits. Ms. Gaynair was born in New Jersey and currently resides in Miami. She is the mother of three boys and is a proud Navy mom to a recently enlisted Navy Diver.

What has been the biggest factor in your success so far?

Being in a trusted position to serve as a consultant to clients who seek guidance on topics ranging from data, analytics, and computer-based automation systems for over 17 years.

What do you enjoy most about your career in the consulting industry?

Advising clients on technology and enterprise risk, and incorporating emerging and disruptive technologies on behalf of the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. I enjoy serving as a vital part of a team focused on the oversight of data integration and system compliance between United States Southern Command, including Central and South America.

What is your proudest achievement to date?

I was instrumental in the review, processing, and integration of over 400 sensitive and specialized technology products in finance, operations, and intelligence. I supported large-scale Combatant Command initiatives responsive to the defense of the Western Hemisphere and recognized by peers as a go-to person for subject matter expertise on complex large-scale technology initiatives.
