As Founder and CEO of Elixrr Consulting, Stephen Newton turned the challenges of 2020 into opportunities, facilitating the firm's successful IPO in July, the only firm to list with London Stock Exchange during lockdown, as well as completing an acquisition, and three record months of revenue. Under his leadership, Elixrr also expanded its U.S. business, grew their internal talent, and welcomed more than 50 new team members.
Last year, Newton continued to build a "house of brands," acquiring high-quality boutique businesses to expand Elixrr's offering to clients. Anticipating the need to facilitate the growth of digital innovation, Newton led the acquisition of Coast Digital in October. Now a full-service digital offering combined with Elixrr's consulting capabilities is enabling the firm to realize their clients' digital aspirations end-to-end.
Newton cites Elixrr's 2020 IPO as his greatest professional achievement to date.
"To have grown the firm to a point where we were able to take it public in such a short period of time (and during the pandemic no less) was a very proud moment in my career. To see us expanding our team and the services we're able to offer our clients has been hugely rewarding."
As for the biggest key to his success so far, Newton is quick to share the credit with his team.
"Both mine and Elixirr's success would be unachievable without our incredible team. Elixirr's partners are passionate, driven individuals and I am consistently amazed by the quality of young talent that we see joining us at junior levels. I have the privilege of working with these inspirational people on a daily basis; and truly believe what is written on my office wall – 'our newest recruit will one day lead our firm'!"

"This recognition is a real honour. It's been a fantastic year for the firm, but also a challenging one given the constraints and barriers posed by the pandemic. I see this award as truly earned and deserved by my remarkable team. They have demonstrated extraordinary resilience and determination this past year.
