Once a national security official, Joshua Burch is now a senior managing director and head of FTI Consulting's EMEIA cybersecurity practice. Joshua leverages his 20 years of experience working at the highest international security to support clients in developing their own cybersecurity operations and critical incident response plans. The practice was established in 2019, and Joshua has overseen the successful growth of that business, which employs a roster of incident response and cybersecurity experts across Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa.
Burch has facilitated the growth of the EMEIA Cybersecurity business, working with clients across a broad spectrum of industries and expanding into new markets, such as the United Arab Emirates. Within their first financial year, Joshua led the team to win substantial work with high-profile organizations solving complex problems. Recently, Joshua's team led incident response for a leading blue-chip client, in addition to providing guidance for breach liability and bringing integral support in defense of a class-action lawsuit that followed.
He points to the firm's "relentless" work on building FTI Consulting's Cybersecurity practice across the regions he leads since 2019 as a particular point of pride.

As for the biggest key to his success, Burch is quick to share the credit with his team and clients.
