FTI Consulting has announced it will acquire The Rhodes Group, a construction consulting firm with offices in Pittsburgh and Houston. Subject to customary closing conditions, the acquisition is expected to close during Q2 2021.
The acquisition will add approximately 40 billable professionals, including one Senior Managing Director and three managing directors, to FTI Consulting's roster. The Rhodes Group will join FTI's Construction & Environmental Solutions practice within its Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment. The additions, which include Andrew Rhodes, Founder and President of The Rhodes Group, will enhance FTI Consulting's construction advisory, dispute resolution, and expert testimony capabilities in North America and provide The Rhodes Group's clients with access to FTI's global, diversified platform.

The Rhodes Group was founded in 1999, and provides construction advisory, forensic accounting, and expert testimony services throughout the project lifecycle, from preconstruction through formal dispute resolution, with an emphasis on the power, oil & gas, industrial, infrastructure, and commercial building sectors. The firm's experience spans multi-million and multi-billion dollar projects across multiple service offerings.
