In response to the sudden influx of remote workers due to the pandemic, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced the launch of 10 Threat Management Centers to provide cybersecurity services to its enterprise customers.
The new centers will employ leading-edge cyber resilience and security technologies to help clients and their enterprises thwart new potential attack vectors due to the increased prevalence of working from home. The centers will be located in the U.S., the UK, Spain, and in several major cities in India. TCS says it plans to open even more centers in other regions down the line.
Dr. Sundeep Oberoi, Global Head, Cyber Security Practice, TCS, says of the new centers, "Large enterprises across the world are partnering with TCS to achieve a cyber resilient posture that will help them face increasingly sophisticated and targeted attacks. Our global network of Threat Management Centers will leverage cutting edge technologies and our Zero Trust framework to provide rapid and expert security services locally, bringing us closer to our customers, while ensuring compliance with data protection laws."
To help clients navigate the new threat landscape, TCS' centers will provide cybersecurity solutions and services, including managed detection and response services, incident management and breach support, on-demand cyber vigilance services, digital forensics, and regulatory compliance. The centers will offer a range of comprehensive threat management services across IT, OT, IoT, and cloud ecosystems, with the help of local experts and its partner ecosystems for scalability.
TCS has also developed a Zero Trust Framework to improve businesses' resilience and agility, while also providing various tools, platforms, and solutions to address customers' cybersecurity needs. Some of these include a consent management system, a live response tool, a cyber drill platform, and an interactive vulnerability demonstrator and management tool.
