With the backing of Onex Corporation, Ryan continues to invest in strategic acquisitions, which accelerates our growth while allowing us to maintain our agility.

Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?

Ryan: This year is looking like another one for the record books. We continue to advance strategies that position the Firm to grow organically and through key acquisitions globally—most recently acquiring AEC Property Tax in Canada. In 2019, we strengthened key practice areas, offering new tools and resources to serve our clients and employees better to continue to deliver exceptional solutions and value.

Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2020?

Ryan:  Ryan continues to sustain year-over-year growth. To successfully maintain this growth trajectory, leadership remains focused, making sure we are constantly checking and making necessary adjustments important to the business, our clients, and employees. We have the opportunity to become the clear, dominant provider in our industry on a global basis, and we are moving quickly to seize this opportunity. The next few years are going to determine the direction of our industry and our success as a leader in that industry.

Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2020?

Ryan:  Unprecedented advances in technology continue to be a challenge and opportunity for us. We have to ensure Ryan is in the position to take full advantage of these opportunities, as leveraging technology is paramount to our success. We continue to make significant investments in innovative systems and technology that are essential to driving us to the next level in delivering value to stakeholders.
