Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?

Toops: Clerestory's unique and compelling value proposition has kept us at the forefront of Change Management's evolution as demand for our services has increased. Executives increasingly appreciate the impact that change management has on critical initiatives—and the success of the organization. We apply high-impact Change Management techniques in every aspect of our clients' projects. Engaging our clients' staff produces measurable results and rapidly delivers specific goals. Our team of 65 consultants has the right blend of experience, skill, and personality. 

Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?

Toops: 2019 has been another exciting and fast-paced year at Clerestory. We are on track to close out the fifth consecutive year of 25 percent growth in staff and revenue, as recognized by Inc. 5000. We have added new clients and new capabilities by expanding our service offerings. We offer in-house video production capabilities and expanded our design, development, and delivery of eLearning. We have increased our investment in staff development. Everyone at Clerestory is excited and looking forward to another great year in 2019.

Consulting:  How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2020?

Toops: Clerestory's 2019 projections point to continued profitable growth. We increasingly apply our expertise to a smaller number of more significant client initiatives. Several multi-year client projects and many new opportunities are in progress across multiple industries. Clerestory's deep roots in operations consulting and change management makes us a preferred provider for clients in post-acquisition integrations. Our methods produce impactful results at the intersection of people, process, and technology where a significant change is taking place. 

Consulting: What are your firm's biggest challenges in 2020?

Toops: Clerestory's strength is hiring exceptional consultants who are strategic thinkers and are passionate about implementing change at our clients. Change is wearying for clients, and our team must have the pace and skill to persuade, encourage, and model the behaviors required in transformed environments. 

Consulting: What does being a Fastest Growing Firm mean to your firm, employees and clients?

Toops: We are honored to receive the recognition of being named again as a Fastest Growing Firm. We take great pride in the successful outcomes that we achieve with our clients every day. This honor validates that we continue to deliver as we grow consistently. We founded Clerestory to offer a different consulting solution to clients. We have proven that we can partner with clients across industries and functional areas. Consulting's recognition is an acknowledgment of our past accomplishments and a vote of confidence in our future success.
