Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?
Neuner: Our business continues to thrive on the basis of exceptional client delivery. We subscribe to the notion that consulting services are 'bought not sold,' and we've found that continually over-delivering on expectations brings clients back year after year, and leads them to refer us to their networks as well.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Neuner: 2019 will close as another record-setting year for Cicero Group and we hope to qualify for Consulting's Fastest Growing Firms again as a result. Just as importantly, we are very pleased to have expanded our senior leadership team, and we are already seeing fruit from the practice development efforts of multiple Partner- and Principal-level hires.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm's overall outlook for 2020?
Neuner: The future is bright. 2019 will close as another record-setting year for the firm, and we are looking to accelerate our growth in 2020. We have recently hired several senior leaders with deep sector-specific expertise and networks that will open new areas of opportunity adjacent to our current service areas.
Consulting: What are your firm's biggest challenges in 2020?
Neuner: Our most important challenges are always those that our clients are facing. In 2020, we will continue to focus relentlessly on helping our clients develop and implement strategies in support of growth and operational optimization.
