Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?

Baroni: We've continued to win significant contracts and vehicles serving the federal, education, healthcare, and nonprofit markets. I believe that our competitive edge continues to be our exceptional, collaborative team of consultants and the innovation that they drive, particularly in the area of digital transformation, bringing solutions that are powered by extreme automation.

Consulting:  How is this year shaping up for your firm?

Baroni:This year, we marked our company's 10th anniversary. Although much has changed since 2009, our commitment to the core principles upon which Attain was founded remain the same—built-to-last, next-generation, and values-driven. And, it is these cornerstones of our business that help us to continue to grow our portfolio of clients, contracts, and team members. On the financial front, 2019 is shaping up to be another double-digit growth year for Attain. On the people front, through September 2019, we've strengthened our team by more than 220 new hires, including welcoming Cindy D'Annunzio, Managing Director, Federal Health, and Colonel (Ret.) Mike McKinney, Managing Director, Department of Defense, to the team. Our people are the driving force behind Attain's success, and are a force multiplier.

Consulting:  How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2020?

Baroni: The outlook for Attain is bright and the momentum is strong. We're at the leading-edge of technology, delivering services such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and robotic process automation (RPA). We also continue to extend our capabilities through Attain's ecosystem of strategic alliance partners, including Salesforce and Red Hat.

Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2020?

Baroni: As we continue to scale Attain and position the company for continued growth, our biggest challenge is the war for talent. At Attain, we are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining top consulting talent to continue delivering the best transformational services and solutions to our clients.
