Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?
Gans: I would say there are a few, namely: Focus on long-term relations with large, industry-leading clients; hands-on, cooperative approach with clients; and, being a truly great place to work.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Gans: Very well, we project that we will grow by another 40-50%, deepening existing relationships and adding a few very strategic new clients to our portfolio. We are also consolidating our international expansion through the establishment of our Lisbon office.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2020?
Gans: In Brazil, we are very optimistic for 2020: the country is at the very start of the economic cycle, growth is accelerating, and we feel demand for our services is growing in quantity (i.e., more requests) and quality (i.e., more strategic/growth projects instead of tactical ones).
Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2020?
Gans: Our main challenge is always to find and attract truly exceptional, diverse people and integrate them in a way that makes Mirow & Co. not only larger, but better.
Consulting: What does being named one of Consulting's Fastest Growing Firms mean to your firm, your employees and your clients?
Gans: This is a moment to rejoice and celebrate for all of us, a confirmation that we are on the right path and a wonderful acknowledgment of what we have built along the last seven years.
