Huron's Sarika Amin says the people and the variety of work are what excite her the most about a consulting career. "We are listeners and problem solvers," she says. "We partner with a diverse group of clients and help them navigate challenging environments, so they can thrive today and in the future. Every day is a different challenge that we help our clients solve and along the way we get to build lasting relationships."

Amin says she takes pride in knowing the transformational change Huron helps healthcare clients achieve. "Huron's collaborative culture has allowed me to partner with a diverse group of leaders and colleagues to deliver integrated capabilities and exceptional service that makes a lasting impact on our clients," she says.

To that end, no one truly accomplishes anything alone, she says. Since day one at Huron, she has had leaders and mentors supporting and encouraging her no matter the circumstance. Huron continues to invest in her future and has set her on a path to success, encouraging her to celebrate each milestone she achieves along the way. "I might have the capabilities to excel, but it is the support network around me that has helped me grow and get to where I am today," she says.

Ask her about the best advice she's ever received and she'll tell you it's to work hard but not to sweat the small stuff. "Our world is constantly changing, and to be successful it is important to stay focused on what is in front of you and not get distracted by the little things around you," she says. "If you work hard and deliver on the work in front of you, success will come." As far as being a Rising Star, Amin says the recognition is "humbling and a testament to the people around me that continue to invest in my professional and personal development and my passionate team."
