Point B has acquired Independence Consulting, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based firm with expertise in strategy and financial services.
The acquisition continues the firm's significant growth, with 21 percent revenue growth and an extension of Point B's talent pool to some 950 people, says Point B CEP Mike Pongon.
The move also bolsters Point B's expertise in strategic delivery, bringing customers solutions to strategic challenges.
"This is an important and exciting moment for Point B," says Pongon. "We continue to see our customers face unprecedented levels of disruption and transformation, particularly in the Digital, Mergers and Acquisitions, Future of Work, and Data and Analytics spaces. "
The Independence Consulting team helps Point B tackle more complex challenges for the firm's new and existing customers, Pongon says.
Independence Consulting serves the financial services, media, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, distribution and utilities industries. The team's more than 1,200 projects span across the globe.
Point B will maintain Independence Consulting's Charlotte, North Carolina office, extending the firm's existing East Coast presence in New England and New York.
