Consulting caught up with Taras to discuss the firm's financial performance and revenue growth. 

Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?

Taras: The acknowledgement from the market and validation by our clients of the necessity to address Corporate Travel, Meetings, Payment & Expense (TMPE) Program Maturity by finding new areas of program innovation and optimization beyond just traditional agency centric or leveraged sourcing. Our proprietary Total Cost of Ownership for Travel, Meetings, Payment & Expense Management (TCO-TMPESM) service model is delivering high ROI for our clients through broader spend-under-management and identification of new sources for cost reduction, user acceptance and compliance, improved spend visibility and oversight, optimized workflows and processes, and reduced risk.

Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?

Taras: TCG is once again on track to meet or exceed our planned growth targets. We remain firmly entrenched as global market leaders with the ability to drive continued results for our clients, providing traditional program support (strategy, sourcing, implementation and management) and our transformative and holistic TCO-TMPESM approach. Our growth and exposure have also opened doors to work in collaboration with other industry leaders.

Consulting:  How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2019? 

Taras: 2019 will mark a significant milestone for TCG as we reach our 25th anniversary. We are primed and eager to build upon the successful foundation that has enabled our longevity by remaining focused on our clients and our associates. As our TCO baseline approach continues to gain more traction in the market, we foresee the opportunity to impact and optimize our client programs by helping uncover and manage those costs beyond T&E reimbursement by an additional 29 percent in program TCO. We are looking at parallel partners to help meet the demands of the market.

Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges?

Taras: I'd say ongoing growth management, finding and retaining great people and the ability to ensure superior client delivery.
