Revenue Growth: 84%
HQ: Hackensack, NJ
Strativity has led dozens of organizations around the world into a new era of customer-centricity and has had a great run with 84 percent revenue growth over the last three years. "Growth is a wonderful thing, but it's an outcome, not a goal," says Lior Arussey, CEO & President. "At Strativity, we aim to keep doing the best work possible for clients who are willing and ready to transform and differentiate. Working with them through challenges, difficulties, and ultimately triumphs is the big reward for our people, and the growth we've experienced these last several years has afforded us the opportunity to do this sustainably again and again." Consulting caught up with Arussey to discuss the firm's performance.
Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?
Arussey: A few key things have driven our growth for the last few years. One is the role of customer experience as a strategic focus for organizations, with more senior executives seeing customer-centricity as the best path to sustainable competitive advantage and growth. Another factor is that more executives have begun to recognize that simply investing in digital and fixing customer pain points won't give them the level of market relevance they're trying to achieve.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Arussey: This year continues on a similar trajectory with clients seeing the need to strategically define and deploy customer experience, employee engagement, and change management. We see more clients hungry to move beyond conceptual frameworks and thick strategy documents to more practical, real-life execution. They want to see change happen faster with clearer paths to full adoption among employees.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2019?
Arussey: We think our best opportunities will be in helping clients connect with the human side of strategy execution and change, focusing on both customers and employees to make things stick. We see culture becoming a more critical and explicit success factor for clients, especially as more executives try to align purpose with profits to stay highly relevant to customers and employees.
Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2019?
Arussey: One is that many clients see digital transformation as a complete solution when, in fact, it's only one piece, and it comes with a great deal of risk if it is not deployed thoughtfully. While digital is a natural focus, seeing as most organizations have work to do in that area, the fact is that investing in digital also requires you to reframe employee roles and re-engage employees around the major impact they still have in a digital world.
Consulting: What does being named one of Consulting's Fastest Growing Firms mean to your firm, your employees and your clients?
Arussey: For our clients, I think this is a testament to quality over quantity. It's not the size of the firm that matters but rather the passion, expertise, and discipline that the team brings to the party. For our employees, who work hard every day to help clients really make transformation happen, being listed here for the fourth year is a great validation of their hard work, dedication, and commitment and acknowledgment that we're on the right track.
