ProcureAbility transforms traditional and outdated consulting & staffing models by offering Advisory + Talent on clients' terms. The firm transforms traditional, outdated consulting and staffing models by offering advisory and resource support on clients' terms. Clients have access to unbundled resources, plus the ability to selectively add value through leading-edge methodologies, the latest best practices, and specialized insight and advice—an approach unheard of in traditional consulting and staffing firms. "ProcureAbility offers a large menu of staffing options to suit our needs," says Steve Coleman, Senior Sourcing Director, PG&E. "I can get one talent resource or more sophisticated advisory solutions." And John Evans, President and CEO of ProcureAbility, says the firm's delivery model is unique. "We aren't wed to old, static models, instead, we flex with specific needs with options that deliver maximum procurement ability. So we can deliver procurement how, when, and where you need it." Evans sat down with Consulting to discuss the firm's financial performance, revenue growth over the last three years and the impact of it being recognized as one of the consulting profession's Fastest Growing Firms.
Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?
Evans: We feel that our unique offering of Advisory, Talent, Recruiting, Intelligence & Analytics sets us apart from our competition. By offering a wide range of support options, our solutions can be very cost effective and on-point to what our clients are looking for at any given time.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Evans: This year is shaping up to be very strong. 2018 will be the highest revenue year in our firm's 22-year history.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2019? Where do you see the most opportunities?
Evans: We expect continued growth in 2019 and our biggest opportunity will be continuing to evolve our hybrid Talent & Advisory offering.
Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2019?
Evans: Finding exceptional Talent is always the biggest challenge for firms like ours, especially in this tight labor market. Also, managing an innovative culture as we continue to grow will be a strong area of focus for us.
Consulting: What does being named one of Consulting's Fastest Growing Firms mean to your firm, your employees and your clients?
Evans: Being named for the second year in a row is a huge honor for us. We have always aspired to be a growing, entrepreneurial, innovative firm, and our designation by Consulting magazine helps to validate the hard work of our team.
