Lu sat down with Consulting to discuss the firm's financial performance and outstanding revenue growth.

Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?

Lu:  Our core value is, "To provide the best service to the best clients by the best people." It's our mantra that we, as a company, hold ourselves to fulfill across every facet of our business. 

Consulting How is this year shaping up for your firm?

Lu:  We've had another exceptional year anticipating double-digit growth from 2017. We remained heavily active in the media and entertainment space serving many of the studios and networks while also expanding into the retail, CPG, and automotive industries. 

Consulting:  How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2019? 

Lu:  We anticipate another year of double digit growth. We will continue to have a strong hold in the M&E space with deeper expansion into CPG and retail. If I had a crystal ball, I'd surmise that our digital media supply chain practice and data and analytics practices will be stronger than ever along with CRM.

Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2019?

Lu: Without question, it's retaining high caliber talent who are not only book smart but people smart. We're in the business of offering technology solutions, however, it's the people experience on the engagement that clients remember. Retaining candidates who have a strong appreciation and acumen for people skills has been a key ingredient in our success. We can help our colleagues learn new skills, but it's nearly impossible to teach someone how to enjoy the art of client service. And that's something we never intend to compromise on behalf of our company culture or our clients. 

Consulting: What does being named one of Consulting's Fastest Growing Firms mean to your firm, your employees and your clients?

Lu: To be recognized by our peers for our work and to serve as a point of inflection for other growing firms, is an honor we don't take lightly. And, of course, it's an opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing team of OnPrem'ers who are the reason for our success.
