Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?
Sanders:: We have been able to hire highly talented associates, expand the depth of our client relationships and leverage that formula to create an atmosphere of teamwork and partnership. Summus Group genuinely values our clients and how they define success; we strive to exceed expectations on every engagement.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Sanders: This has been a foundational year for Summus Group. We have invested in the firm with several key hires and continue to focus on growing the firm in a strategic manner. We recently opened up an office in Atlanta and plan to focus on that market and its community like we have in Charlotte.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2019?
Sanders: 2019 is expected to be another year of expansion for Summus Group. Our exceptionally talented associates are poised to help our clients adapt to evolving priorities within their industries. We are focused on strengthening relationships with our client partners and truly understanding their needs.
Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2019?
Sanders: Any company that experiences growth as Summus Group has will experience growing pains. Our challenge will be to ensure we never lose sight of the importance of our associates and that our culture and core values always remain at the center of everything we do.
