Consulting caught up with Marr to discuss the firm's financial performance.
Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?
Marr: M2 Strategy continues to grow at an exceptional rate because our top priority is the success of our clients and employees. Our constant focus of developing a top-talent workforce that brings tangible solutions to our clients has been made possible through training programs, collaborative team events, mentor opportunities and 100 percent company paid benefits. Our high-standard of service delivery is the result of dedicated, passionate employees that always provide innovative solutions to our clients' most pressing problems.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Marr: This year has been another remarkable year for M2 Strategy. We have grown our client base, service offerings, and are on our way to surpassing our goals for 2017. We have obtained several new, compelling projects that will shape our industry and our services.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2018? Where do you see the most opportunities?
Marr: We anticipate that in 2018 we will see another robust increase in revenue, our client base, and our talented workforce. Most of our opportunities are within the federal government and we see the potential to grow our higher education services next year as well.
Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2018?
Marr: As we rapidly grow we see our greatest challenge as ensuring we maintain a culture that allows our employees easy accessibility to our leadership and to mentorship opportunities. We want to always give our employees access to the help they need, and have invested in a creative new program called "Mentorship Advancement and Performance (MAP)". The program is a robust internal mentorship program that has further increased our employee satisfaction and engagement with leadership. We will also continue to offer our employees an industry-leading benefits package, numerous employee-centric events, and a culture that nurtures and encourages leaders.
Consulting: What does being named one of Consulting's Fastest Growing Firms mean to your firm, your employees and your clients?
