Consulting caught up with Trimble to discuss AArete's financial performance, its future and three-year revenue growth.
Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?
Trimble: Our client base is expanding through a myriad of industries: healthcare, retail, trucking/transportation, financial, sports analytics and not-for-profit groups, to name a few. And our existing clients continue to find new and creative ways to use our expertise. They see the value. Combine those two factors and growth will always be the outcome. "Clients for life" is our mantra.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Trimble: This year is shaping up to be one of growth and adaptation – changes in the economy, combined with our growing presence in the market have allowed us to find new and creative ways to gain operational and financial efficiencies. And, we look forward to what is next!
Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2018? Where do you see the most opportunities?
Trimble: The future looks bright for AArete and our opportunities are endless! We will continue to build on our core competencies in the healthcare industries (provider and payer), but the retail and transportation industries are in a freefall with regards to profitability. Anywhere profitability improvement is an issue AArete can help.
Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2018?
Trimble: Ensuring our guiding principles continue to thrive among a period of growth and opportunity. Our employees are our number one asset and ensuring they continue to focus on family, community, sustainability and excellence among their daily activities will be a focus for us.
Consulting: What does being named one of Consulting's Fastest Growing Firms mean to your firm, your employees and your clients?
Trimble: We are honored to be named to this list. We never want to forget how we got here though—and if it weren't for our employees and clients we wouldn't be here. We are proud to share this honor with them!
