Consulting: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm's exceptional growth?
Kommareddi: Most executives are trying to figure out how to deliver value from big data in their organization. The technologies are complex and varied, their applications are not clear, and talent is not readily available in the organization. We have been able to help organizations sort through this maze. With the tailwind of a fast growing market helping us, we focused on three basic ideas: creating customer delight; engaged employees; staying ahead on the technology curve.
Consulting: How is this year shaping up for your firm?
Kommareddi: We are set to grow by almost 80 percent this coming year.
Consulting: How would you describe your firm's outlook for 2018? Where do you see the most opportunities?
Kommareddi: We are very bullish on 2018. Our efforts in 2017 have led to our hiring of a seasoned management team. In 2018, we will increase our depth in financial services and accelerate our execution on our big data managed services.
Consulting: What would you say are your firm's biggest challenges in 2018?
Kommareddi: As a rapidly growing organization, it is critical that we pay close attention to the culture and the continued commitment to our values. Ensuring that we hire the individuals that are a right long-term fit for us is something that we need to continue to emphasize.
