In case you haven't noticed, Consulting magazine likes to identify, recognize and celebrate the very best in Consulting. We do this a number of ways, but the most obvious way is through our awards and recognition dinners. We reward excellence in the profession, including The Top 25 Consultants, The Women Leaders in Consulting, Social & Community Investment, The Best Firms to Work For, The Fastest Growing Firms and The Rising Stars of the Profession. In fact, there's 20 pages of gala coverage of the Rising Stars in this issue. Those nights we get together with you are the highlights of our entire year.
So, we're all about tipping our hat when it's deserved. And when there are hundreds of nominations for a handful of winners each time around, we've learned that too much good work is still going unrecognized.
For a while now, we've been thinking that we're missing something. For quite some time, we've noticed our readership is becoming more and more global. While we're still around 70 percent North American, our international audience has more than doubled in the last decade.
Consulting is a global business. Firms are global; business is global; clients are global. And Consulting magazine is global. With that in mind, we are thrilled to be launching a brand new award—The Global Leaders in Consulting. Recipients of this international award will be those consultants who display outstanding leadership qualities and capabilities and exert extraordinary influence in their firms, for their clients and over the consulting profession. All consultants worldwide, including those based in the U.S., are eligible, but—for the first time ever—we'll be going across the pond to celebrate. The 2017 Global Leaders in Consulting will be recognized at a gala awards dinner at the in Le Méridien Piccadilly, London on December 7.
Nominations are now open! Tell us about your global leaders and why they should be recognized. We're ready to listen.
