General Manager
Slalom Consulting
Excellence in Leadership

Alex Qatsha has spent the better part of the last seven years building Slalom Consulting's Atlanta office into a success, much of it due to his work ethic, leadership and exceptional client service.

Qatsha joined Slalom Consulting back in 2006 as General Manager of Slalom's Atlanta Office, which he successfully launched and grew from concept into $50 million in revenue in a little less than seven years.
Under Qatsha's leadership, the Atlanta team has developed a reputation for leading innovation throughout Slalom and for their Fortune 500 clients.

Qatsha says he takes great pride in seeing his team and his clients succeed, and he truly believes in authentic leadership, focused around empowering, giving and mentoring versus just climbing the ladder.
"From a client perspective, we're delivering the most strategic work we've ever done," he says.

"We've very successfully integrated our Business, Technical, and Digital offerings enabling us to offer clients seamless solutions to their biggest business challenges," Qatsha says.

However, Qatsha says he's most proud of seeing "our people continue to thrive in their careers," Qatsha says. "Unlike other consulting companies I've worked at, Slalom has a strong tradition of promoting from within and we've seen many of our folks grow to new heights and earn promotions into leadership positions, which creates more dynamic, engaged teams."

He says he's always made it his job to help other people succeed, and says his role at Slalom gives him that opportunity every day. "The culture at Slalom is one where we constantly work with each other to improve," he says.

Qatsha says he was attracted to Slalom because of the passion and attitude that he saw in the people that worked there. "It's collaborative, and open, which inspires everybody to give their best to our clients and each other. It's pretty inspiring."

Prior to joining Slalom, Qatsha worked at Deloitte Consulting, Accenture, and Unisys. His Atlanta roots extend back to his education. He earned a BBA in Finance and an MBA from Georgia State University.

Qatsha also is deeply invested in the Atlanta community, and is a board member for Quality Care for Children.

In fact, Qatsha had so much success in Atlanta, that Slalom has once again tapped him to open a new market, this time across the pond in London.

In August, Qatsha, his wife and two children will be relocating to London. Before he goes though, he'll have the opportunity to collect his Top 25 Award in New York in June. "For both me and for Slalom, [the Top 25 Award] is an affirmation of a style of leadership that truly puts others first."

What do you enjoy about the work that you do?

"In a word… people. I get to spend time every day deepening relationships with consultants and clients. Enabling our consultants to do something they are passionate about while solving problems for our clients is a double helping of simultaneous goodness."
