The stakes were high—incredibly high—when a biotechnology corporation selected ZS Associates as its exclusive partner to conduct chart audit and awareness, trial and usage research across its oncology portfolio.
As part of the process, Stephen Love, a Principal with ZS Associates, brought a strategic and analytical approach that ensured a smooth transition and generated results for the client, who says they have complete trust in Love, something the client admits it would rarely, if ever, say about another consultant.
Love returns the sentiment. "I am most proud of and thankful for the strength of the relationships that I have with my clients," Love says. "We have collectively built a level of trust that allows us to debate and to innovate."
Love says the entrepreneurial nature of consulting continues to excite him. "I have the opportunity each day to make decisions that help my clients address their key business issues."
But it doesn't end there, Love says the biggest factor to his success has been, without question, his project team members. "I have been so fortunate to work with people who are smart, hard-working and kind," he says. "Some of my best friends are current ZSers and ZS alumni."
As far as being recognized as one of the Rising Stars of the Profession, Love says the award is simply a reflection of all those that have lent a hand over the years.
"This award is truly a reflection of all of the people who have helped me over the past 11 years—my family, my project team members, and my clients," Love says. "Consulting is a highly demanding and rewarding career that is a team effort."
