As an investment consultant, leader of Aon Hewitt's Trust Services team, and global head of Transition Management, Kristen Doyle wears a lot of hats. At just 33, Doyle provides advice and support for some of the firm's top clients, including three of its largest public fund clients.
Doyle's out-of-the-box thinking in the areas of asset allocation and investing has paid off for Aon Hewitt as well as her clients. "I've assisted in the implementation of some very successful, high returning, well timed investment ideas have added value to my clients' investment portfolios," she says.
Doyle gives her boss and other senior level colleagues credit for picking up on her unique vision and giving her a rather large sandbox to play in. "I credit my boss and others at the senior levels of the organization for recognizing my abilities, trusting in my capabilities, and supporting me unconditionally."
Doyle thrives in a challenging environment. As for what excites her about the profession, she says it's the ever-changing investment landscape as well as the investment opportunities presented by the recent financial crisis.
"Finding these strategies and determining where they might fit best within a client portfolio is exciting and engaging," she says.
Doyle prides herself on her work making an impact. And says the Rising Stars of the Profession Award shows she's doing just that. "This award provides confirmation that I am, and my organization is, making a real impact. I am proud to represent Aon Hewitt in this way, and am proud to serve as an example to others in the industry that work hard, have the drive to succeed, and desire to make a difference."
