Ask Paul Schur, Managing Director at Slalom Consulting in Atlanta, what motivates him to excel and he'll give you—at least initially—a one word answer: Results. But, of course, there's always more to motivation.
"The people around me also motivate me to excel, including my colleagues, clients and family," he says. "One of my main responsibilities is to build and maintain positive relationships with clients. The opportunity to work hand-in-hand with such talented people definitely fuels my passion for success."
Recently, he says, he had a high-ranking executive at a large telecom company tell him in regards to a key strategic product launch 'when they write the book about how we did it, you'll be in it.'
