Dulles, Va.-based Infinitive, which has been one of Consulting magazine's Best Small Firms to Work For the last four years, acquired Convergent Domains, a Richmond, Va.-based provider of business intelligence, data warehousing and IT solutions.

Infinitive has additional offices in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Convergent Domains, meanwhile, was founded in 1997. Its client base includes high-performance enterprises in financial services, retail, telecommunications and defense.
