Patrick Leonard 12) Morgan Franklin

Morgan Franklin returns to the Best Firms to Work For list for the first time since 2008. However, there is one major difference this time. Back then, the firm was a shade over 200 consultants and cracked our list as a Best Small Firm to Work For. Now, nearly twice that size, Morgan Franklin is back with 400 billable consultants and No. 12 on our ranking on the Best Firms to Work For list.

"We are honored to have one of the highest employee satisfaction rates in the consulting community, and the award is validation that the efforts and programs supported by firm leadership are having a real impact on making MorganFranklin a great place to work," says Patrick Leonard, Managing Director, Global Enterprise Accounts Leader for Morgan Franklin.

MorganFrankin Headquarters "We believe that this satisfaction has helped produce an impressive growth rate over recent years, as MorganFranklin grew by more than 73 percent between 2008 and 2011."

Over the past 12 months, MorganFranklin successfully launched an MBA Recruiting Program to attract recent MBA graduates. Through the program, the firm teams MBAs with experienced, seasoned advisors to provide personalized attention and foster collaboration. The firm also launched a Future Leaders program.

And Morgan Franklin shows no signs of slowing down. Leonard says one of his top priorities is to expand into new markets and geographies. "We are driven by client needs and are growing our business to provide opportunities to identify and implement process improvements and work smarter," he says.

Being named a Best Firm to Work For has had a tremendous impact across the firm, Leonard says. "The recognition validates what we know and believe about MorganFranklin: We are a unique company that blends industry-leading benefits, flexibility, and culture with the best people," he says.

"Most important, this designation matches the enthusiasm that we see in our employees. Because this award is based solely on employee feedback, it reflects the voices of our team members."

Q&A: On this year's survey, Morgan Franklin excelled in the areas of Work/Life Balance and Culture. Why is that?

Patrick Leonard, Managing Director, Global Enterprise Accounts Leader, says: "MorganFranklin's market-leading benefits, flexible work arrangements, and culture allow employees to focus on what matters most to them inside and outside of the workplace. As a testament to this commitment, we have received the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility numerous times. One thing that is unique about our culture is that we allow employees to set the pace for their own careers. Employees can dial their careers up or down when needed without impacting their long-term goals.

Needs and family obligations change over time, and we understand that this type of flexibility can be empowering. Work/life balance also includes giving people an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of the communities where they live, work and play. The company's flagship CSR endeavor is the annual MorganFranklin Golf Classic benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). In 2005, MorganFranklin became the first company to partner with the WWP for a charity golf tournament, and has donated $480,000 to date in cash and in-kind contributions."
