Pace Harmon announced that it will open a new Chicago office and unveiled a hiring initiative that's expected to increase overall staff by some 15 to 20 percent.

Headquartered in the Washington, D.C. area with an existing office in San Francisco, the firm's new Chicago location will be lead by Principal Steve Keegan, an IT governance and sourcing advisor with more than two decades of experience and a nearly 20-year Chicago-area resident.

"With roughly one-third of our client work originating in the Midwest, we've had a presence in the region for years, but establishing a local office provides an anchor to more efficiently serve clients and increase local contact with top companies and talent," Keegan says. "I look forward to supporting Pace Harmon's next growth phase and attracting the area's top talent—a mix of well-educated recent graduates and established professionals with deep consulting and industry experience."

Pace Harmon is also embarking on a hiring initiative, with plans to increase its overall staff as much as 20 percent by the end of 2012. The firm is seeking practitioners of all levels to help support their award-winning IT and business process outsourcing, insourcing and other advisory client programs, with positions available at all locations.

"This is an exciting time for Pace Harmon—we've grown organically since inception and this is a natural next step to expand the firm while maintaining second-to-none client service and our collegial culture," says David Rutchik, senior partner, Pace Harmon. "We are thrilled to have Steve leading the Chicago practice—he brings the perfect blend of deep consulting and IT industry experience and his client service track record stands on its own."
