Review: Do Nothing!

Great leaders don't work; they facilitate and orchestrate, says Keith Murningham, author of the aptly named Do Nothing! Murningham, an award-winning professor at the Kellogg School at Northwestern, argues that doing nothing is much, much better than doing too much. Too many leaders, he asserts, spend far too much time checking up, checking in, putting out fires and fixing nagging problems rather than what they should be doing: helping others do their jobs better by preparing for the future, coming up with effective strategies and helping others implement them.
