Huron Consulting Group's first-quarter revenue increased 11.9 percent to $143 million compared to $127.7 million in the first quarter 2010. Meanwhile, the average number of full-time billable consultants totaled 1,148 for the quarter compared to 1,080 for the same period last year.
Huron also affirmed full year 2011 revenue guidance in a range of $580 million to $620 million. "Huron's performance in the first quarter of 2011 reflects improved strength in our Health and Education Consulting segment and the continued solid performance of our Legal Consulting segment," said James Roth, CEO and president of Huron Consulting Group.
