For Acquis Consulting Group, a New York-based operations management firm, landing on the Best Small Firms to Work For list two years running accomplishes something the firm set out to do 12 years ago, according to David Kaufman, managing partner.

One particular area where Acquis excelled on the survey is The Job category, which measures the satisfaction consultants feel with the client work they are doing each day. Acquis scored an impressive 4.80 out of a possible 5.0.

In addition, Kaufman says Acquis' client work is tremendously varied and diverse, especially for a firm of its size.
