Huron Consulting Group announced that its Wellspring Partners and Stockamp businesses will combine under one brand—Wellspring+Stockamp, Huron Healthcare.

The business is led jointly by vice presidents, Gordon Mountford and West Johnson. Clients include national and regional integrated healthcare systems, leading academic medical centers, community hospitals and physician practices.

"By bringing together Huron's two healthcare businesses under the Wellspring+Stockamp umbrella, we create the most experienced consulting team to bear on emerging healthcare client needs," said James H. Roth, CEO of Huron Consulting Group.

"The healthcare industry continues to operate amidst unprecedented change. The strategic combination of the Wellspring and Stockamp brands into a single practice enables our clients and the healthcare marketplace to have access to the expertise needed to address current issues as well as those that will be created by the new healthcare reform environment."

Wellspring+Stockamp continues to operate within Huron's Health and Education Consulting segment, which also includes the Company's Higher Education business. This segment accounts for some 60 percent of Huron's revenues for the full year 2009.
