BearingPoint and West Monroe Partners unveiled a strategic consulting alliance to expand their global market coverage and to better provide services to their international clients.
After last year's sell offs, BearingPoint is now a European-based independent management and technology consultancy owned and operated by its partners. The firm currently employs 3,250 people in 14 European countries and serves commercial, financial and public services clients. West Monroe Partners is a 250-person technology and business advisory services firm based in Chicago.
As part of the agreement, both firms will refer business opportunities, collaborate on client work in Europe and North America, and share intellectual capital, firm leaders say.
"This is excellent news for our clients," says Dean Fischer, president & CEO at West Monroe Partners. "We have identified an increasing number of opportunities with our clients which tie to the most visionary elements of their business. This alliance makes it possible for our clients to work with us on even more strategic projects that span international locations."
Peter Mockler, managing partner at BearingPoint, called West Monroe Partners "the up and coming management consulting firm in the U.S. and the ideal strategic consulting partner for us," he says. "I am truly excited about this alliance, which marks the beginning of a global consulting network." [CMSARTICLELIST:body|({indexcode} LIKE '%CMAG.A.150%')|1]
