Wadia E-mail Exposes AA's Optimism
Among the morsels of information that have so far leaked out of the arbitration proceedings between Andersen Consulting and its sibling, Arthur Andersen, perhaps none has revealed AA's unflappable optimism better than a recent e-mail from Jim Wadia, Arthur Andersen's worldwide managing partner.
The e-mail, sent by Wadia to Arthur Andersen employees, supplied an update on the arbitration involving AC's split-off from the firm and put a spotlight on some of the proceedings' highlights, including the critical hearing last October. Wadia's e-mail underscored how AC called only a single partner to serve as a witness at the hearing
