U.K. Firms Enjoy U.S. Growth
United Kingdom–based management consultants enjoyed more robust growth in the Americas than at home in 2001, according to a report by Management Consultancies Association, a U.K.-based group.
While MCA members' overseas revenues increased by 13 percent overall last year, revenue from the Americas alone increased by 54 percent. This number indicates that U.K. consultancies are now competing with U.S. firms in the global market.
Revenue generated by MCA members in the U.K. increased by 18 percent. It is estimated that the total U.K. market for management consulting is now worth about 8 billion pounds, or $5.55 billion.
