Monday The joy of a well-earned vacation! Madrid sweltering hot, but I had to show the family some real culture. Spend first day by the Hyatt’s pool buried in guidebooks. So many museums, so little time. Theo in heaven doing running splashes into the water until he lands on irate German pretending to be a submarine. When we escape back to our suite, proudly tell Holly how I resisted the temptation to check voice-mail all afternoon, despite nagging fear over what John Bonanza’s up to at my client Du Rite. Enough!
