Another Web site is aspiring to become a gateway for consulting talent by using a cluster of customized offerings. The site might be worth a look, even if you aren't looking to jump.
ConsultantTrack.com, started by New York–based executive search firm Raines International, purports to help consultants determine their market value, network with other members, and read up on the careers of former consultants — some of whom appear to be on a fast and fruitful track. The site boasts that the average compensation of its members is $185,551, with many members earning more than $750,000.
