Grontmij Acquires Trett; Consona Acquires Configuration Solutions

Indianapolis, IL & Leeds, U.K .based engineering consultancy Grontmij has announced the acquisition of Trett Consulting, a commercial and contract firm. London-based Trett brings an additional 120 professionals to Grontmij's 1,070 U.K. and Ireland employees. Trett Consulting will continue to operate under its existing brand name.

Additionally, Indianapolis-based Consona, a provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management software and services for the enterprise, recently acquired substantially all assets of Configuration Solutions. The Portage, Mich.-based firm specializes in the development of product configuration solutions for to-order manufacturers. According to Consona, Configuration Solutions will continue to operate from its headquarters as a product line of Consona ERP but will maintain the Configuration Solutions brand.
