According to a variety of news sources, including the Detroit Free Press, New York-based consultancy Oliver Wyman has purchased Harbour Consulting, a Michigan-based firm that measures the efficiency of global automotive assembly plants. The firm also publishes the Habour Report, which is considered the industry standard in automakers' manufacturing performance. According to news reports, Ron Harbour, president and CEO of Harbour Consulting, will become the global director of Oliver Wyman's automotive manufacturing practice.
