BearingPoint, a McLean, Va.-based management and technology consultancy, has named a new CEO. Ed Harbach will serve as company president, CEO and a member of the board of directors, according to press information. Harbach has more than 28 years of experience in the consulting industry and has been president and chief operating officer since the beginning of the year. He succeeds Harry L. You, who joined as CEO in March 2005.

Prior to his role as BearingPoint president and COO, Harbach served as a managing partner and member of the leadership team at Accenture.
