According to press information, Accenture will provide George Group a platform to continue growing while giving its customers and employees the stability and opportunity a large firm like Accenture can provide. Accenture, a management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company based in Bermuda, employs more than 158,000 people in 49 countries. It generated net revenues of $16.65 billion for the fiscal year that ended Aug. 31, 2006.
Houlihan Lokey in Los Angeles is serving as exclusive financial adviser to George Group, and initiated, structured and negotiated the transaction on its behalf. The transaction is expected to be finalized by early fall.
