Forrester Research, a technology and market research company, recently released its latest report on the risk consulting market. The report, "The Forrester Wave: Risk Consulting Services, Q2 2007," determined that Deloitte, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers take the leader positions in what the report called "end-to-end risk consulting," with the reason being "their comprehensive service offerings and thought leadership."

Other key players noted in the research include Ernst & Young, which was cited for its ability to play most competitively on "enterprise risk strategy engagements;" Oliver Wyman and Protiviti were noted for their "risk organization and process design;" and BearingPoint and IBM had the "deepest technology development and systems integration to embed risk into business applications," according to the report.
