Deloitte Consulting recently forged a partnership with Informatica, a data integration solutions provider based in Redwood City, Calif. The alliance will, according to a release, "help deliver offerings for enterprise information management, data quality, governance and compliance."

"Through this alliance, Deloitte Consulting and Informatica will continue to provide clients with the business intelligence and enterprise data integration experience that can help companies enhance the consistency, accuracy and integrity of all types of data across the company," says Scott Sognefest, a principal with Deloitte Consulting and the U.S. practice leader for Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.

Additionally, the release also stated that more than 350 Deloitte Consulting professionals worldwide have been trained on the Informatica data integration platform, and new employees will learn the system quickly after hire.

Deloitte is in the process of implementing Informatica's data programming at select worldwide locations, including its Glenn Mills, Pa., data center and established Informatica Centers of Excellence in Mumbai and Hyderabad, India.
